Hamyar AI companion
A free AI companion for Farsi and Dari speakers: live interpreting for appointments and calls, and step-by-step help to understand and complete UK forms.

The Hamyar app is a free AI companion built by Mehr Health CIC. It helps Farsi and Dari speakers at the moments where language stops them getting help: a GP appointment, a call with a caseworker, a letter from the council or a form from the Home Office.
What it does
Voice interpreter: speak in Farsi or Dari and Hamyar gives a spoken English version, so people can take part in conversations with doctors, caseworkers and support staff
Form Companion: guides people through common UK forms, such as asylum support forms, question by question, explaining in Farsi or Dari what each question means and what to write
Real forms, not copies: the most used official forms are pre-loaded as the real documents, and people can also photograph or scan a paper form to get help with it
Built-in tools: converts Persian (Jalali) dates of birth to UK dates, and spells Farsi names in English letters so details match across documents
Guidance cards: where there is no single national form, such as school admissions, Hamyar explains the process instead

Hamyar is a support tool. For important medical or legal appointments, people still have the right to ask for a free professional interpreter.
